A webinar session was organised by the Palestinian Ahliya University in partnership with Bethlehem Municipality to present the objectives and activities of the U-SOLVE project.
In the presence of representatives of local and international organisations, the presenters emphasised the importance of organisations and municipalities in the success of the next phase of the project that will involve reaching out to entrepreneurs, providing them with services, and spreading the word about the project’s activities to as many sectors as possible. The participants in turn provided advice and guidance on creating innovative ideas to solve problems in urban areas.
Funded by the European Union (EU), the U-SOLVE project is implemented in Italy, Palestine, Egypt, Greece, Cyprus, and Jordan. It aims to promote and support women and young entrepreneurs in urban areas with a focus on the environment and sustainable development.
