The EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN programme announced that Jordanians and Syrian refugees can apply for scholarships for the vocational training diploma for the next academic year 2021-2022. The application period started on Monday 6 September and will end on Sunday 26 September.

Funded by the EU through the EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis (Madad Fund) and managed by the German-Jordanian University, the programme aims to provide young students with opportunities to pursue higher education (bachelor and master’s degrees), vocational education, technical training, special entrepreneurial training, and labour market-oriented courses, as well as summer programmes for high school students.

So far, the EDU-SYRIA/EDU-JORDAN programme has awarded 1,800 scholarships, with the aim of awarding 3,000 by the end of the programme.
